07/07/07 - SQL Power is proud to announce the release of the Open Source Power*Architect! A flexible, user-friendly and innovative Data Modeling Tool, we are going to be able to add even more features and functionality under the new license. The Power*Architect was designed and created by data warehouse designers, and has many useful features geared specifically for the data warehouse architect, including:

- reverse engineering existing databases
- performing data profiling on source databases
- auto-generating ETL metadata
- taking snapshots of database structures for off-line work
