Hi Power*Loader developers,
I keep getting this error when i try to create a Database Connection (see attachment as well):
"Error in mDBConnection.SaveDBConnection
Error 9: Subscript out of range
Please call for support "
I was trying to connect to a SYBASE instance or an ORACLE instance. Both ODBC connections used are valid.
Any idea what's causing this?

maybe you have too many connections defined in your power loader, try clean up something you don't need first.

That is what I am trying to do: delete old connections that are no longer used.
However, there seems to be another issue that is affecting this.
The ODBC.ini file might be in the wrong location. Power Loader seems to be reading from an old ODBC.ini file.
I will try investigate futher to figure out where this 'incorrect' ODBC.ini is being read.

what happen if you just ignore the error message? are the connections still there next time you run the pl? if they are, you should be just OK.

If I ignore the message, and click 'OK', it still wont let me create the database connection.
After after i dug further into the problem, I found that the ODBC.ini file it was reading from was an old ODBC.ini file (Power*Loader is reading from C:\Documents and Settings\dmmigration\WINDOWS\ODBC.ini. I am logged in as user 'dmmmigration'). I replaced it with a more updated one (found in C:\WINDOWS\ODBC.ini) and the problem seemed to have disappeared.
I will keep it the way it is now until other issues arise.
Thanks for your help anyway!

I was not able to change the filepath. This would be the best solution for my problem but I could not figure out where to change that. Power*Loader still indicates that it reads the file from 'C:\Documents and Settings\dmmigration\WINDOWS\ODBC.ini'.
So I just copied the ODBC.ini from 'C:\WINDOWS\ODBC.ini' (the correct/updated file) and pasted it in 'C:\Documents and Settings\dmmigration\WINDOWS\ODBC.ini'.
