Hi guys,

How do I manage the dates that appear on the 'Select Date Range' screen? There are currently too many dates/years (see attached). I would like to see only from 2000 on. I dont think i need anything before that.

thanks.

Good question.

On the Dashboard Summary screen, the date range is a fixed window: it always goes a certain number of years into the past.

On all other screens (once you've selected a single KPI), the dates available are determined by the earliest and latest dates in that KPI's date dimension.

The reason is, we felt it was too expensive to scan every single status table for min and max dates just to produce that date picker.

Maybe a compromise would be to make it a system preference: the Dashboard administrator would be allowed to choose the available date range that shows up on the date picker of the summary screen.

Thanks for leading us to this enhancement suggestion.
