On the result panel, if can drag and drop the desired column to the grouping portion, it will group the similiar result together with the symbol 'plus', i mean the symbol 'plus' is the user can click the plus symbol to expand the detail item. For example i have a invoice transaction with 5 items, when i drag and drop the column invoice number to the grouping portion, result panel should show the invoice number with plus symbol, when i click the plus symbol, it will expand to 5 rows whick is the detail of the item, no like current version, can not grouping like this and show 5 rows with duplicate invoice number.

I hope this suggestion useful for you.

Hi Yes,

Sorry for the late reply. I am unfortunately unable to see the images you put on rapidshare as I am told I would need to be a premium member. From what you are describing it sounds like you would want an OLAP cube. With an OLAP cube you can define a dimension like you are describing with the invoice transaction. When you query an OLAP cube with Wabit you would be able to drag dimensions and measures to columns or rows axis and then expand and collapse them much like you can expand and collapse a tree structure.

If you want to learn more about what OLAP really is you can see Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_analytical_processing. Also MDX for everyone is a good starting point for new people interested in learning about MDX queries and OLAP. At the moment the site appears to be down but a cached version is available at http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:fBNTWqkyb0sJ:www.mosha.com/msolap/articles/MDXForEveryone.htm+mdx+for+everyone&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca&client=firefox-a.
