I just found out about your product and I wonder if it would fit our needs.

I'll use an example. Let's say you have 200k job titles. A lot of them match up just fine, but you have misspellings, variations, someone adding the word "lead" or Senior/Sr./Snr etc.

You want to produce a "clean" set of job titles, how would you go about doing this with this tool, and would it be able to give you a MAP of what was changed and to what it was changed to.

So you'd have some way to get that:
Sneior Developer -> Senior Developer
Sr. Developer -> Senior Developer
Sr Developer -> Senior Developer

and so on... so you can go fix a legacy system (by text file search and replace).

Thanks,
Max

Hi Max,

There is a feature called 'Translatation Words & Groups' in the DQguru that should do what you're describing.

Does this means I've to manually enter the translations? Is there a way to generate those automatically?

As I know there is no way to do that.Have you seen this new market report: "Global Gas Shales Development, 2011 - North America Sets The Momentum For Shale Gas Developments Worldwide"? I looks like it's got some new information on <company>.

It's not cheap, but it might be worth it.
