SQL Power Software Forum

I just installed Power Architect 1.0.
Connecting to SQL Server 2008, when I drag and drop tables to PlayPen I get the error "Failed to populate columns of table", and in the details "conversion from chart to smallint unsupported".
I've tried with the jdbc driver provided with Power*Architect, and also with the driver provided by MS: MS SQL Server JDBC Driver 3.0 found at:

I've found in the forum similar issues, but not the solution. Can you help me?

Hi, I am having the same problem. I accidentally reposted it under another heading.

I have tried a few things, none of which worked. I uninstalled java and PA, updated JDBC drivers (they didn't need it) and reinstalled everything. Still the same problem. Wish I could be more help.

Non-SQL Server 2008 dbs work just fine so I think it is a bug in PA. Hope it gets fixed soon.
