Hi Yanis,
When you get that first error message, there should also be a button available that says 'Show Details'. Click on that and a detailed error message should appear. Please copy and paste that into a response to this thread.
Thanks,

It appears the startup scripts are not working in that particular release. We apologize for the inconvenience. We put the previous 1.0.3 version back up as the current download, and will try to get a fixed 1.0.4 release out soon.

Hi Bapajan,
The first issue looks like a known issue with the web client in 1.3.2, and should be fixed in the next release which will be coming soon.
As for the second issue, we will have to investigate further.

I believe there is an open-source Excel JDBC driver somewhere, so it is theoretically possible to use the Wabit with it if you can figure out how to configure it.

But it is not a platform that we support so use at your own risk.

Hi Max,
There is a feature called 'Translatation Words & Groups' in the DQguru that should do what you're describing.

That error is related to some older code, but it should not affect the actual security of the DQguru. You should be able to safely ignore that warning.

What is the error message that you're getting?

Hi there,
To use the Google Address Lookup, you need to sign up for a Google Maps API key
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html
I believe it should work with DQguru if you signup with a URL of http://localhost.

Hi Benjamin,
You're right, there is no such functionality. I would recommend filing an enhancement request in our bug tracker.

Hi Dave,
Given the error message:
Exceeption Node Report:ca.sqlpower.sqlobject.SQLObjectException: Couldn't connect to database: The TCP/IP connection to the host has failed. java.net.UnknownHostException
It looks like your machine can't tell where the host that you specified is.
Did you make sure you entered the right hostname/IP address? You can try to ping that host (go to a terminal / command prompt and type 'ping ' and then the hostname or IP address you have your SQL Server on) to see if your machine can even see that host.

Actually, I've found my first instinct is to double-click the datasource, which ends up opening the datasource properties, rather than starting a new workspace with that datasource. It's a mistake that I still make from time to time. But that's me

Hello,
You should be able to delete Query Pen tables by simply selecting the table and hitting the 'Delete' key. I do believe there's a bug currently for Mac OS X where pressing the delete key doesn't work yet (since I think it's read as a backspace), but if you're on a Windows machine, you should be good. There's also the Delete button in the toolbar.
We could also add the right-click menu option. And I also believe there's a request to add a little 'X' close button on the top right corner of each table. I think dragging it back is a bit too much (too much mouse motion required compared to just clicking)
-Jeff
