OK - dragging it back could have some other complications too so the other options sound good.

I could not figure out how to remove tables from the query pen. I would expect to be able to do this by one or both of the following:
- dragging it back to the database connections
- right clicking it and selecting an option to remove the table from the query pen

Everytime I go to create a new workspace and after selecting a database connection I instinctively want to click the new button as it is the first button there. It might be more user intuitive to put the start button above the other buttons.

I see your point. Having the option seems to be the logical solution.

I see how new constants are created. However I have not been able to create a column in the world facts database that I am trying to call GNP Difference that would be country.gnp - country.gnpold

I manually changed the sql in the query view and wanted to return to the query playpen. Wabit does not seem able to save my changes in the query and return to the query playpen and maintain those changes.

When creating a constant after naming it I wanted to create an alias etc.. It seems to me the only way is to click into the alias and where. It would be more usable (less mouse use) if after naming my constant I could TAB to alias and then TAB to where (and reverse tab as well). This is what I intuitively tried to do.

OK - I see how that works.
I think to make it more user friendly there should be a means to select the operator (<,> etc.) as it exists in the Wabit and also be able to drag in the other columns as a gui operation and then have like the operators are have selectable options for wildcards that a business user would understand.

I tried to chart a query that joined city.name, city.pop, coountry.name, country.pop - it would not allow it, I think it did not distinguish between the name columns from the different tables (i.e. it did not recognize the name column from city and the name column from country as different)

As we create queries, pages etc the namine in the left hand window become ambiguous and hard to find what was worked on in the past - it stays the same until you right click and rename - I think it should at least give it a different name automatically (incrementing number at the end of the name) or maybe force the user to name a query/form when they start it

It took me a while to figure out how to move back from the page layout to the query playpen view - perhpas a button and/or file options from the main menue would be useful for this
I also found it difficult to figure out how to create a new query - perhaps a button and/or file options from the main menu would be useful for this

When working with the query playpen I wanted my where in the gui to be able to select and to refer to another column i.e. I wanted to select where gnp was less then oldgnp - is this possible?

When working with queries I could not figure out how to add another column without going to the sql view - is there functionality to add a calculated columne in the playpen - I would expect it

The workspace and database connection windows on opposite sides seems unneccesary to me - I think I would prefere them both on the left creating a bigger workspace and only one side to go to to selct things
