Hi,
have you tried right clicking on the connection lines of the join?
Thanks,

Hi,
what exactly do you mean with a role playing dimension? Do you mean a time dimension?
You can create a new dimension and set TimeDimension as type. Add a hierarchy and you can add time related levels (year, quarter, month,...)

Hi,
sorry the previous post was most likely spam.
We currently don't have full support for DB2 (http://www.sqlpower.ca/page/sysreq) but you can file this issue in the bug tracking system at http://bugs.sqlpower.ca/bugzilla/
Thanks,
Benjamin

Hi,
the current version of SQL Power*Architect doesn't support views.
Thanks,

Hi,
which version of SQL Power Architect (SPA) are you using? You are saying you could connect to the same SQL Server 2008 before using SPA?

Hi,
now I know what you mean. i have the same issue sometimes. The best way to move a large table around is to zoom out first so that your table easily fits into the playpen, and then move the table.

Hi,
I currently don't have a SQL Server 2008 available to verify this issue. There are 2 versions of the JDBC driver available from Microsoft, you might want to try both:
Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver 2.0: http://goo.gl/8RPf
Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver 3.0: http://goo.gl/dZWG
Both drivers support SQL Server 2008. Let me know if you have any luck.

Hi,
I'm not sure if I understand your issue. Can you describe the problem in more detail?
In general you can use the zoom function to zoom out if a table is too big. This way you can still move it on the playpen.

Hi,
have a look at our FAQs, it explains how to create a new database type and how to install JDBC drivers: http://www.sqlpower.ca/page/faq-install

Hi,
can you confirm that the database user "test" has the permissions on SQL server to view all tables etc.? Maybe you can also try to connect with the db admin user.

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear about your decision. After reading that you had issues reverse engineering after you setup a UUID type I just tested it myself but I could not reproduce your issues.
Thank you for trying product,
Benjamin

Hi,
in the enterprise edition you could just add the data type INTERVAL yourself but for using the community edition I don't know of any better solution.
Thanks,

Hi,
just to clarify:
- The database you want to connect to on a SQL Server 2005? I'm asking because there is also a native Dynamics NAV database (also called "Classic").
- You can test the connection in Wabit (in the DB connection manager) and it is working?
Thanks,
Benjamin
