save button (or actually the save action?) should be disabled when saving the project until it's done. try double click it to see the bug.

Could not find anything on the internet by a quick search. but here is an idea:
How about a small contest to design the algorithm, in sqlpower or in this forum. then we create a framework and implement all ideas into standalone small programs, test them all on a live/production database, then the best performance decides the winner. Isn't that fun?

the table profile function in the architect is nice and useful, sometime I use that for finding out table primary key or unique key in unknown databases, but in many cases, table has compound PK or UK, I suggest that add a feature to find the compound key of a table if the simple table profile result does not provide it, this feature list all the column combinations that the values are unique.

I know that 'translate word' step supports Javascript RegEx, but for us who not very familiar with RegEx, can we have a little test box to test our translation, especially for use of RegEx?

Looks like the some schema information saved with the project file, like table name etc. but next time I open the project, the Architect does not notice that those tables are gone, showing all the invalid tables on the DBtree.

anyway, the time is also a important factor for tracking the changes.

I don't know if like the shortcut key, to me double click is a lot more nature than key stroke.

I will like to suggest some improvements to make search function more user friendly,
1, search on search, like the search function on table view of table profile, real-time filter/spot light
2, be able to sort by column of search result
3, if 'show in playpen' is not applicable to a object type, i.e. index, column etc., disable the button instead of show a popup dialog.

well, personally don't want to see a tool bar being 'tear away', just side by side is fine. on the other hand, it will be nice if we can turn a icon on or off to customize a tool bar a bit.

While we are still waiting for the project versioning, there is a simpler feature we could use: keep a brief history of each table. for example, drag and drop from what database/schema, create from scratch, by who(system user id), create date time, last modify etc.

I tried to move 2 tool bars of architect into the same horizontal location (or vertical, to get more screen space) but couldn't do it. I think that's a nice add-on since architect allows user re-arrange tool bar location.

just realize that may not swing column as I thought, what I am talking about is the elements connected by color dash lines, the element is the columns that you choose from the database table, sometime the combination of the column names could be a bit long, but give it a wider window size does not help.

The one displays clusters, my column combination is a bit long, then I tried to make the window a bit wider, but the column size does not grow with the window.
