Amazing Race Pictures!

On Friday, August 17th, SQL Power ran our second annual Amazing Race, an all-day event of competition and ingenuity, culminaing in fabulous prizes for the winners!

It was a pleasure spending the day with all of our racers and learning all the neat tricks that clever people can resort to when winning is the only option!

FYI - We ran a couple of practice races over the last few weeks to nail down the expected completion times and to plan the day accordingly .. our average race time for both legs was approx. 4.5 hrs or 270 minutes .. the slowest team completed the race in 140 minutes (almost half of our base-line time) .. while the winning team completed the race in a whopping 57 minutes! Hats off to the ingenuity that everyone displayed while racing for the gold!

Here is a link to some of a more memorable moments:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/97687489@N00/sets/72157601585763098

Congratulations to all the Winners, and we hope everyone had a great time! We'll definitely have to make next year's race a lot more challenging now that we know what kind of brilliant minds we're up against!

Thank you once again and we look forward to having you at next year's Amazing Race!
