Re:refresh database - option

I think this an excellent idea. There have been times where I have run a Power MatchMaker process and found some sort of error (such as incorrectly formatted column headings) and opened the database to make those corrections. Once done, I have had to close and reopen MatchMaker so that these corrections appear and the process can be re-run.

Re:refresh database - option

Hi JWiley,

We've since added some functionality to the Power*MatchMaker that allows it to automatically detect changes to the table structure, and provide the user with the option to adapt their project to these changes. The Power*MatchMaker will usually do these checks before performing certain important actions like running the match or merge engines, or performing match validation.

However, if there are particular changes in your project that the Power*MatchMaker is not accounting for, or you don't like the way the project adaption works, please let us know.

In particular, let us know in as much detail as possible what changes you made to your database structure, and what modifications to the project the Power*MatchMaker made in reaction to these changes, or what changes you think it should have made but didn't do.

We opted for this solution instead of a button because changes to the table structure could come without notice to the user.
