SQL Power is pleased to announce the release of
SQL Power Architect version 0.9.8!
This release features a number of bug fixes, improved
forward-engineering compatibility with several database
platforms, and lots of usability and productivity enhancements.
We recommend that all users upgrade as soon as possible.
New features include:
- A convenient shortcut for performing a structural
comparison directly from tree view of source database
connections
- Ability to forward engineer auto-increment columns in
MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Project option to have relationship lines drawn as
direct, straight lines or in the old rectilinear style
(the default is still the old style)
- Easier table dragging: you can now drag a table
(instead of a column) at extreme zoom levels by holding down
the Alt key (option key on Mac)
- Automatically straighten relationship lines
without moving any tables (this feature can be accessed via
the play pen's context menu, also known as the popup menu or
the right-click menu)
- Corrected the DDL syntax for adding a column in SQL
Server (the COLUMN keyword is not allowed).

the latest release here.
Enjoy!
