SQL Power Architect Goes Multilingual

SQL Power Architect 0.9.11 Released

SQL Power is proud to release SQL Power Architect 0.9.11 which includes framework for Multilingual Support

 

To keep up with the growing worldwide popularity of the SQL Power Architect Open Source Data Modeling/Data Profiling Tool, we've added Multilanguage Framework. This means that you can now easily incorporate your own translations and run SQL Power Architect in the language of your choice.

This highly-anticipated release also includes:

  • Improved Functionality
    • Undo/Redo now work with relationships, including moving connection points, and straigtening lines
    • Relationships now change between identifying and non-identifying when foreign key columns are moved in or out of the child table's primary key
    • Ability to change the colour of tables and their text, and the ability to display them with rounded edges
    • Ability to reverse the direction of a relationship
    • Item selection is now synchronized between the DB Tree and the Playpen
    • Feature to check availability of newer releases
  • Improved DB Tree View
    • Ability to delete items by deleting their corresponding node in the DB Tree
    • Ability to select all child tables of a particular table in DB Tree
    • Expand/Collapse All option
  • Improved Playpen View
    • Columns are specially marked if they are a primary key, a foreign key, or an alternate key
    • Ability to align tables either horizontally or vertically
    • Auto-scrolling
    • Show/hide certain types columns
    • Focus on either the parent or child table of a relationship from its right-click menu
    • Delete columns when columns and relationships are selected at the same time
