This is an example of a MicroStrategy dashboard that could be delivered for Insurance claims through a QuickStrike. (Beyond the dashboard, QuickStrike would include several supporting stand-alone grid and graph reports.)

Cycle Time

Insurance Cycle Time | QuickStrike Example

The Cycle Time panel uses several methods to analyze cycle time. In the top left corner, gauges for Claim Volume and Average Cycle Time are selectable by year. The top two charts to the right are time sliders that show average cycle time over time, the first one at the company level and the second one by region. Further graphs show the cycle time by unit and down to adjuster. A data cloud widget shows cycle time by city, relative to the size of the city.

Settlements

The Settlement panel is similar to the Cycle Time panel with gauges for Claim Volume and Average Settlement selectable by year in top left. Below these we can see the relative difference of claim sizes between cities in a data cloud widget. There are also several graphs including a heat map showing Average Settlement and Loss Type by Region.

Expenses

The Expenses panel also utilizes gauges for Claim Volume and Average Expense selectable by year in the top left. Below these we can see the relative difference of average expense size between cities in a data cloud widget. There are also several additional graphs for further analysis on Average Expenses.
